Plus Size Lolita Fashion Haul & Try On!

Hey everyone!

After many, many years of admiring lolita fashion (we're talking early 2000's) and some bodyline coords (don't even know if any photos still exist of that time) I've finally splurged into some brand clothing.

Being "plus-sized" --- US dress size 14, and UK dress size 18, fitting into brand is not the easiest thing for me, especially in the chest area. But I have managed to find some items that work for me and have decided to share a try-on video with all of you!

Outfit Details (Brand & Name - Lolibrary link - Purchased from):

1. BTSSB X Disney Collaboration: Alice in Wonderland - http://bit.ly/1Kc0bCH

2. Innocent World: Orchestra Instruments - http://bit.ly/1OZgLCq

3. BTSSB: Secret Airmail from Sweet Kitty - http://bit.ly/1Kc08H0

Necklace and bracelet from: http://shopprettyminty.com
Blouse: Fan Plus Friend - http://bit.ly/1QF3aF0
Petticoat: Lovely maxicimam - http://bit.ly/1QF3lQB
Wig: Dolly Cat in Pinky Linen from DreamHolic Wigs on Etsy

My personal favourite has to be the Innocent World: Orchestra Instruments JSK. I think it has the most stretch and versatility out of the dresses. Although all three dresses still have a bit of stretch left in them.

The one I'm not as impressed with is the BTSSB X Disney Alice JSK, the cut of the babydoll is very weird...it stops right in the middle of my chest...perhaps my chest is just way too big to fit the shape properly. Luckily the jsk has a heart and bow detail on the bodice, making the weird fit a little less obvious. It makes me a little sad since I really love the print and general look of this dress...just wish the cut was a little more flattering.

Secret Airmail from Sweet Kitty is probably...the only pink dress I have in my lolita collection. It's a bit hard for me to pull off as it's not a color nor print I go for often, but the print is just too damn cute to resist and it came with a matching head bow.

Being a larger lolita isn't always easy, but it's nice that brands offer JSK's with shirring T_T It's my saving grace for being able to fit into cute, brand clothing.

I'm hoping to try some indie brands/off brand lolita clothing in the future. I do have a Souffle Song dress that I ordered last week, as well as a dress from Lief and Fan Plus Friend. But if you have any personal favourites or suggestions please let me know in the comments below!

Until next time!
